The Society of Scribes and Illuminators, based in the UK, is one of the most well-established and respected calligraphy societies in the world. The website gives information about the Society, its aims, membership and activities. The Edward Johnston Foundation is dedicated to the promotion of public awareness of calligraphy, not only as an art form in its own right but also as the seed and reference point for many other lettering disciplines including modern typeface design.
